mike's right; and if you want to, you can hold your pointer on the purple route (that's in "classic mapquest" mode) and move the route to roads/highways you want. takes a little doing so you don't do double routes, but you can always do-over and try again. just remember that freq. major roads like Pa. Tpke. are very rough and sometimes the longer route is better.
Having driven from Massachusetts to Bowling Green dozens of times and trying different routes, my route of choice is:
84 to 81 to 80 to 76 to 71 to 65. This route may be a little longer but the roads were better and the scenery is nice in the Corvette. Basically straight across Pennsylvania, diagnolly across Ohio and down through Kentucky.
As noted above both AAA (if you are a member) and or Google Maps or MapQuest are good choices if you don't have access to a GPS.

Clif,
When do you plan to visit us here in Bowling Green?
On your own, you can always go to the Assembly Plant website, once on to the site click on the enter button and then the tour info button on the menu bar. It will give any planned closure dates and to the best of their abilities, any dates that public tours will not be offered.

We are heading out on Saturday and will arrive in Bowling Green on Sunday the 21st, I would have done it in one shot but the mrs. wouldnt be happy. So we have a reservation for both the Musemn and the plant on the 22nd monday.
Hi Cliff
While you are at the plant and museum, be sure and allow for another hour and tour Arts Corvettes and Muscle Cars , across the street from the museum. Minimal charge, many collectibles and souveniers ( sp) . You will be glad you did. I live only 120 miles from Corvette Heaven and visit the museum couple times a year. Almost always stop at Arts and check out his inventory. He has some really nice cars, probalby 75 cars.
The plant, musuem and Arts are all within five minutes of each other.
Enjoy your Trip.
