Of course you can order one. Or search around to see if there is one in stock somewhere. Start with our Supporting Dealers for best inventory, prices and service. Keep checking the Supporting Dealer Inventory section too:
Ordering Corvettes offers a little different experience than most other cars. If you're totally new to it let us know your goals, expectations, etc. and we can educate you. Good luck.
sure i had an 01 z06 back in 01.. only had it for 6 months exwife hated it..
anyone know what codes are for ordering the 100th ?
i live in a small town and my dealer has no clue.
Although I bought from a CF supporting vendor in NJ I had a few conversations with Becky at Bruce Glueck Chevrolet in Jasper, FL. They were easy to deal with but since I wanted delivery in NY I did not use them. But, if you want to buy locally they have excellent prices and no BS. Just my 0.02. Good luck
I thought all the 100th's were already sold to dealers? Or did I hear wrong?
There's no limit to the number of Centennial Editions that GM will produce; order one and they will build it for you. What you might be referring to is the fact that no Corvette is built unless a dealer orders it, whether it's already sold to a retail customer or not. GM does not build cars "on speculation" like some other car companies (primarily Asian-owned ones) do.
Call Tommy Jr at MacMulkin (a forum dealer) he can order it for you, give you a great price, and arrange Museum delivery or courtesy delivery to a dealer near you...
can i just order a 100th grand sport or do i have to wait for a dealer to get one?
want to get one asap..
If you are want the Centennial option on a Grand Sport, then some of the forum's dealers have them coming in(ordered for their inventory and waiting for a buyer like you to drive it home) or you can also order one. There is no restriction as to how many will be produced. If you order, expect about 6-8 weeks delivery if from a large forum sponsor like Reliable Chevrolet(5th largest Corvette dealer in the country).
From: Currently somewhere in IL,IN,KY,TN,MO,AR,MS,AL, or FL
You will be much happier with the experience if you take delivery at the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green across from the factory. This is especially true it you live in an area with only small dealers who don't know the Corvette. If you take NCM delivery you can also order for any GM dealer in the country because even if the dealer is in Hawaii you are picking the car up in Kentucky. Again, with only small town dealers locally who have to make a large profit on the few cars they sell, you can probably save enough buying from a volume dealer to cover the cost of the NCM delivery trip.
So do a search on museum delivery and see what a great experience it is. Then start talking to the forum dealers to see what kind of deal they have. I think you will be pleasantly surprised. And after the factory tour, personal guided tour of the museum and detailed instruction on every detail of your car while the jealous museum visitors walk by on the other side of the ropes some stopping to congratulate you on your awesome looking car, your wife might even come around to see what a nice car it is.
Oops, almost forgot. Welcome to the forum.
