Reduced power start
I live in Arizona and get a reduced power code once in a while - usually the day is extremely hot - and I've been out driving around. You stop the car and then start it back up within a short timeframe, the car begins at reduced power, shaking, etc.
I have to turn it off, then wait and try again after awhile - no certain amount of time - just have to wait some.
The check engine light then is on - which I can reset of course but wondered if anyone else had this problem??? Not sure if it's the oil heating up with the heat outside or what.

Melting Slicks
Even with AC on and in heavy traffic at 110 and stopping multiple times while running errands around town have never had anything occur with my C6.
Sounds like something is definitely going wrong and needs to be looked at.

KOVO, have you gotten a second opinion on why this reduced power code is showing up? If you decide to go to the dealer, please let me know so I can make sure everything gets taken care of.
Thanks,

Drifting
This happened to me yesterday. My dad dropped me off to pick up a car with my car, and I got out with the remote still in my pocket. He made it back just fine without the fob, but out of curiosity he tried to start it just after he turned it off. Oddly, it did start (even without the fob present) but started in reduced power mode. I've had the check engine light on since. Should I just reset it?
