Default Quick audio questions

Hi guys!

New C6 owner here, adding to my '73 Stingray I'm still bringing back to life! Just got a 2007 Monterey Red convertible with 6-speed, 3LT!! So far, it has been awesome! Got it with only 8k miles on it!

Anyway, have a couple of questions:

1) Where is the XM antenna? Most GM's have that ugly shark fin antenna, but metal bodies. I presume because this is a composite body, they can put the antenna almost anywhere under the skin. Any places for me to look?

2) If I replace the factory non-Nav radio with a Nav system, will I gain Bluetooth capability? I really miss the Sync on my last Mustang, hoping I can get the connectivity with my phone again somehow.

At any rate, I'm sure I'll have many, MANY more questions in the future, looking forward to spending time in this area of the forum too!

I believe the XM antennas are in the mirrors, and yes you can get Bluetooth, but not by adding a factory nav unit. It will have to be an aftermarket nav unit. My Pioneer has bluetooth and I love it.

So I can have sat radio and no Bluetooth, or Bluetooth and no sat radio? Except for spending lots of buck?

That sucks.

XM antennas are in the outside mirrors. 2005s had a wart on top of the car for an antenna, but 2006s and newer all have the antennas in those mirrors.

You can have both, you just have to buy an aftermarket nav with Bluetooth and an XM module.

The newer factory nav units with Bluetooth will not work in older model years. I would love to add the factory nav to mine but don't want to give up Bluetooth.
