Default Driver Memory Package

We just bought a 2009 1LT with the Z51 package. I understand from other posts that the HUD can be added, does the same apply to the Drivers Memory and HomeLink packages? Any info much appreciated!

The driver's side sun visor with the Lear Car-2-U buttons can be added. It's basically a PnP. They stopped using Homelink in the '07 model year. I suppose you could try to find an old Homelink visor and it would probably work. Here's a related thread with info for you:

The Driver's Memory, not AFAIK. Maybe others will have better info.

We had a 2006 Corvette with the original Homelink system in the visor, and still have a 2005 and 2011 Toyota with the same system.

Our 2009 Corvette came with the newer (car-2-u?) system and it's much better for us.
The homelink was very sensitive to how long I pushed the button, like 1.0 seconds was too short but 1.2 seconds was too long and would reverse the door. Had to get exactly 1.1 seconds. Also, the homelink has very short range for us, only about 2 car lengths; the new system allows me to get the door moving as i come down the driveway and drive in without stopping.

But some people have had problems programing the new system in openers that use a rolling code, our house has the older dip switches.
