Default Gmpp price increase

I know I am posting a lot about this but just to refresh everyone, GMPP prices will increase on 10-1-11. This is their annual price increase and before anyone emails me I do not know the price increase nor will I have new pricing until 9-30-11. Please if you are going to do this with me do not wait until 9-26 or 9-27 or later. I do about 300 policies every September so please help me out and get them coming early.

ALSO BIG REMINDER, IF YOU OWN A 2004 vehicle and want to extend the GMPP your one time, you must do so this month or you will be unable to due to it being too old.

Thanks for the heads up. Do you have published pricing for current GMPP? If not, could you PM me pricing for a 2009 Z06? I currently have about 15,000 miles on it. Can it be done after it's first 36 months are up, or does it have to be done before the 36 months?

Thanks again.

Happy I got my GMPP with you, since I might need a navigation replacement.

I'll be contacting you early 2013 to renew mine. Best $ I've spent so far on my 2005.

All of you guys with garage queen Z06s...please buy a GMPP warranty before your 3 year/36K warranty expires!!! It will make your car stand out from the others when you are selling it later...when I want to buy it. Will I pay more for a Z06 with a 7 year GMPP warranty? Hell yeah!

All kidding aside...I'm beginning to look at used, low-mile Z06s and have been surprised by the number of these cars that don't have any extended warranty. I've seen quite a few nice '06-'08s that I have passed on because they either have no powertrain warranty left or they're past the 3 year/36K mile point to buy a GMPP.

why not buy a Vehicle One policy from Dennis then? Coverages are excellent and firm is underwritten by GMPP ... so I've been told.

I've never had a good explanation of what a Vehicle One policy is. I just know that (generally speaking) third-party warranties usually aren't worth the paper they're printed on. If Dennis can shed some light on this, I'd like to hear his opinion. If Dennis says they're legit, then that would be good enough for me.

Can not put specific price per forum rules but last year increase was minimal but year before it was quite substantial, it is all based on loss ratios for the year so if they do not have to pay out much then the increase is held to a minimum.

Vehicle One is a plan now offered thru GM dealers for customers out of factory warranty and have less than 60K for miles and own a 2007 or newer vehicle. It is backed by MIC which backs GMPP and is virtually a GM product since they have acquired Universal Warranty Corp which was in Omaha, NE and has now been moved to the GMPP offices.

Just another small item I forgot in my original post: I need the VIN and actual miles for vehicle needing the GMPP so I give you an accurate quote.

Thanks to everyone, the onslaught has began, did 22 plans yesterday and they are piling up this morning already.
