Default Relocation to Tennessee

Well it's official. I got a promotion at work and they are relocating me to Eastern Tennessee. Bye Bye Texas

I'll be 20 minutes away from Bristol, Va. Always said I'll never track my car. I may have to eat my words... Anyone know some good shops in the Tri-cities area?

I am from the area, what type of shops are you looking for? Service work on your vette? Upgrades?

Nice Area! Lived in Johnson City from 89-99. Moved to Charlotte not long after graduating college, but still go back every year for at least one of the Bristol races.

I would agree, I am born and raised in this area. I have had the privilege to travel over most of the US and I have to say I am very happy living in East TN. Great place to grow up and raise a family.

I was in Cleveland, TN almost a year ago. The whole area was really nice and a lot better than I expected.

Sorry not familiar with any shops there, but my uncle lived there most of his life. Great folks there, beautiful roads and scenery. Good luck and enjoy.

Not really my industry. I am a Chemical Engineer by trade or at least I was until this promotion. I am now a Supply Chain Supervisor for 7 Business Units of a multi-billion dollar company.

Not bad for someone that graduated 5 years ago IMO. I think I'll stay in TN

Congrats on the promotion. Were you in Longview before? I am familiar with your employer as I work in the same industry.
