Default Sputtering when accelerating

Good afternoon all. Just looking for any info reference a sputtering I just noticed while shifting thru the gears. The car is up to date on all required maintenance and just crossed over 85k. I was in third accelerating and noticed the engine hesitating. I pushed it harder and it got worse. I tried this in second and fourth gear only to notice the same thing. Now please note I had just filled up the tank and was driving home from the gas station. Have never noticed this before and was just curious what this might be. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Have a great holiday weekend to all.

Most probably some water in the gas you had just filled up with. Try dumping a can of dry gas in to your tank.

Get the injectors cleaned and carbon deposits on the underside of the valves.

A bottle of Techron, a few miles, and a few "quick passes" should help out.

Check your airfilter and throttle body, and make sure they are clean.

If it was running fine before the last tank of gas, then its most likely water or something in the fuel. As others have said try some Fuel drying additives These are about 90% pure alcohol and wont hurt anything. !!
