Just about anything but the OEMs will do fine in our wonderful PNW winters
(I've been using General Exclaim UHPs for the past 3 years on my 2 vettes and they're great in rain and cold weather. Unfortunately, they're no longer available in Z06/GS sizes)
I lived In the Minneapolis area until I moved to Tucson in 1982 so I have a faint recollection of it.
I drove Vettes for 23 years when I lived around the Minneapolis area starting from when I was 17 and in High School. Never once did I ever put even one of them away for the winter and for a lot of those years including 6 years of college I couldn't afford a second car so my vette was my only car and thus my daily driver all year around. It cracks me up when I see people posting that they have put their car away for the winter as soon as the first leaf falls.
There isn't any cold weather options for the GS/Z06. None of the tires are designed to operate in near freezing conditions.
Although Chris from Callaway just passed 100k miles with his C6 GS Callaway. I think a 2010 model. He seems to like the PS2s the best and I'm sure he hit some cold weather.
Yea I don't get putting the car away for winter either. I appreciate my car more in the cold weather (as long as it's not snowing) all the lost power of the heat soaked summer days returns.
