Just bought a 2005 C6 coupe - a fifty year dream come true.
It's been running fine until yesterday when the push-button start just clicked once and that's it. No problems with the car for six months - only 33K miles. Any suggestions appreciated.
Thanks, -Tom.
Yes, those things require very little voltage compared to what it takes to start the car.
And remember that after you replace the car battery, you'll need to reset the clock and reset the window indexing.
Close the car door. Raise the window and hold the up switch an extra 3 seconds. Release. Without lowering the window, hold the up switch again for 3 seconds. Release. Done. Don't forget the other window.
i'm shocked your battery lasted as long as it did.
if it's a toy and parked over two weeks without driving, you need to purchase a battery tender also. trust me, if it's not a daily driver, just go to Batteries Plus and get one now.

Sound advice and a cheap investment that will save you all kinds of headaches.
Not a day goes by that I don't learn something on this forum.
One of the biggest lessons is,that if you have an electrical issue,it's probably the battery. Owning an 05, I purchased a CTEK 3300.
Car starts right up every time. Thanks guys.
