i personally dont like the rear..thats why i only have the side markers tinted:
your car looks bad a$$ but i would think that tinting the rears would make the lights stand out in contrast against the red car... as opposed to red on red...
You're asking how we feel about them? I totally hate them.
To me, visibility and safety are important. Why would I want to dim the amount of light emitted by my car on it's safety items? Brake lights, head lights and corner lights are really important. Keep them lit, keep it visible.

thanks dude!! i thought about it but im not to sure about it, here is my rear untinted:
Wont be legal in tx, MUST BE REFLECTIVE AND RED. Have you found red tail lamps?
While I went to boot camp (Lackland AFB in San Antonio) and grad school (Univ of North Texas in Denton) in Texas, I have not been back in almost 30 years. If Perry doesn't come home from his pres campaign and put out those fires, there may not be much left to see if I ever want to come back for a visit
Once I find the clear rear lenses, I'll start looking for the rear red brake bulbs. I'm sure they're common enough. Clear rear lenses might be illegal here in Cal also, but that wouldn't be the 1st thing not legal on my '05

I wanted the clear lens rears also since it would match better to the reverse lights. Hadn't found any but there are red bulbs available as I've had them on a previous car. Can our stock tails be cleared? Guys did it on grand ams I remember back in my college days. Kind of a pain where you have to bake them to a point and open em up and all that. I've been debating just going with the acrylics since there is no clear option that I found.

True dat!! Hell is on fire! But it really is not funny. Thank goodness we are getting help from firefighters around the country. Godbless them and keep them safe.
Yes I also have a few changes the Govt does not like.
I just did my side markers and fogs with the RPI stuff. I've always liked it on black and I like it even more on my car! I'm not a huge fan of the tail light blackout, I like that bright red on black look.

Do you have a pic of your fogs? I would really like to see that. After reading all the posts, I'm thinking I'm going to get the acrylic blackouts for the side markers and the fogs but not the headlights or tail lights. So I think your car is a good model for me to look at.
