While in Carlisle I had Corsa Xtreme axle back exhaust installed on my 2009 6spd manual coupe.
I didn't have the cross over pipe installed because the installers told me that with the 2009, Chevy made the pipe similar to theirs, and it probably wouldn't be neccessary to change. Car sounds great, but I get a lot of "burbling" when I decelerate. is this normal or would the Corsa cross-over pipe reduce this.
Also at cruising speed I do get a mild "drone" and I was wondering if anybody installed the "Blockit" sound deadner from TKO performance, and if so did it reduce the "drone".
Thanks for any comments.

x-pipe OEM on 2009... I had corsa sport put on my 2009 coupe... LOVE it. Burble is normal... Extreme too extreme sounding for me... No drone noted on mine.......
The burble on your LS3 is what sold me. I was driving in FRONT of you.. and could hear the pops & bubbling behind me. I was hooked at that moment and couldnt wait to get my own.

It will not completely eliminate the drone but will definitely help.
Thanks for the replies. The burbling/poping doesn't bother me, its just a little more then I expected, so I thought I would ask about the x-pipe to see if that changed anything.

Take it ease

Thanks Ed. I'll be calling or stopping by your shop. I live only about 25 minutes from you.
I have Corsa Extreme and x-pipes on my 2007 coupe. Very little drone, but burbling is pretty significant.
I also have cam, and get compliments all the time on the sound.
Well I went to go see Ed over at TKO and I purchased the "Blockit" sound deadener and it does reduce (not eliminate) the drone (drone is only present between 1300-1600RPM in 6th gear). Whats really nice about this product is that it greatly reduces road noise. Thanks Ed . All around, now I'm really happy with the sound .
