Default XM renewal

FYI:
Got my bill from XM in mail (renewal at $168.00 year) and called to inquire about $77 year promo rate for renewal. CSR gave absolutely no arguments, I was given it immediately (didn't have to even threaten cancellation etc).
I Kept it on paper billing to avoid automatic renewal at $168.00 year.
I've been a customer since Feb 2005 and this was BY FAR the easiest renewal at the $77 rate. Took all of 10 minutes from start to finish!

I just renewed mine for 6 mths @ $30. The ONSTAR lady was very helpful. CAUTION: she did state several times that the service would be automatically renewed at the full price unless cancelled. The renewal occurs whether you pay by check or card. SOOOO make a note to call them before the experation date. Even if you pay by check, once they bill you, it can turn ugly.

I don't have that issue. We have so many great non profit stations run by the various colleges and high schools in the D/FT W area.

I pay like $25 for 5 months and includes everything. I guess they give me that deal to keep my as a customer becuase really I have no use for XM but why not for $25 every 5 months.

Racer,

Then why do you click on them? You know what the subject is. Sounds like you want to sign up.

I think it is a little more expensive than .50 per year though.
