Default wheel question

Do you guys like the 15-spoke polished aluminum wheels? are they worth the 1500? or should I go with the machined-face aluminum wheels and get aftermarket wheels later?

Why do you care if we like em? the only one who matters is you.

1. Buy forged wheels, not cast wheels.
2. Cast wheels are made in China, and they certainly live up to the Chinese high standards. lol
3. You can always buy new car take-offs at a much lower price than new. They are regularly posted on craigslist.
4. Do you homework and due diligence when buying any wheels.
5. Have a tire shop spin them for "straight and true." Only cost is a dozen tacos.
6. I personally prefer polished alum. Chrome rims tend to flake off with time. Ask a tire/wheel shop.
7. You can probably locate used 'perfect' polished alum wheels for $600 to $1000 per set.

I'd get the cheapest wheels offered, then dump them on ebay or in for sale forum and go aftermarket with some really nice wheels you like.

Check out some of the wheels at CCW (a forum vendor.)

Actually, with the C6, the forged wheels were made in Taiwan and many of the the cast wheels were made in Italy.
