Default Finally pulled the trigger

I have been debating for months now on buying a used ZO6 or a new GS. Finally made my decision based off of a couple of factors. I don't think I will ever use over 500hp, spent time in Germany and had a blast, but will not be going back. Also, wanted to be able to take the top off and love the look of the hard top, just something sexy about the roof line. On top of that, a full warranty and no worries with out paying anything extra. So..... with that said, thaks Tommy at MacMulkin for a great deal on a 2012 that I ordered. Will pick it up when I get back from Afghanistan and drive back to Fort Drum.

Atromic Orange
2LT
Competition Grey Wheels
Two tone leather (Ebony - Cashmere)
Blacked out badges
Cyber Grey headlights
NPP Exhaust
Battery Protection
Auto (Just don't want to deal with traffic, this will be my DD)

You'll love the GS, great car. I think you'll find it's closer to the ZO6 than you might think, even with the automatic. Being a DD, if that works for you, it's all good, I plan on tracking mine so I did the manual, love the car. Good luck and enjoy!!

Sound like my story to the "t". I think you made the right choice. The ZO6 is a beast and fun to drive, but I love my '11 GS. I drove a couple of used ZO6's before I bought a new GS. In my opinion, other than braging rights about HP a new GS is a better choice over a used Z. That is unless you plan on tracking your vette. This is also my first automatic vette. I do miss the manual sometimes but not as much as I enjoy the ease of the auto.
