Edelbrock Supercharger

I'm planning to have the same thing done to my 2007 A6 vert next spring. You should make sure whoever installs it is authorized to offer Edelbrock's 60mo / 100K miles warranty to replace the GM warranty.

boost rocks
the bad things: You go a lot faster
the good things: you go a lot faster
I went Twin Turbo but that's just me. Most go S/C. I got 572hp at the wheels. I can pass anything but a fillin' station.
Peace

Toying with thought of nice Si trim A&A kit over here. Had a 70mm on my mustang and it made redonkulous power. Only negative in my eyes with edelbrock is all that power down low is uber hard to hook up. Edelbrocks kit sure is nice, you will have a blast.

I had mine installed 1 year ago and it is awesome. Today I launched up a ramp leaving my office, bad day, tires not sure what to do, redline at 6500, no more..., and about 90 mph in about 80 yards of concrete!! That is cool and a big thrill. Good brakes help!

I suggest contacting the guy's at Lingenfelter Performance Engineering.
These guy's have a lot of hands on experience with the LS series engines when it comes to supercharging.
They have the experience to ensure the proper installation, including the tuning which by itself can make or break the overall success of the install.
Regards,
GSRANDY

by staying local, i shave about 65% off the cost. no warranty, but hey, it's been three years and not a single issue.

I'm going to get one in about 6 months or so!!! I think it's the way to go!! I was thinking about saving my coins for a stroker build but I just don't think it'll be worth it in the end. Plus you can always sell the thing.

Gsrandy - 110% correct. Install is a lot of work but not rocket science especially with luxury of a shop and many installs done so tricks are learned. It is the tuning capability that will make or brake the fun factor. My buddy has a shop out here and he has installed a lot of blower kits on ford, chevy, and dodge and a lot of turbo set ups. The customer is most happy when they click the key and fires right up on big injectors, doesn't smoke, hesitate, nothing; runs like oem until they crack the throttle. Tuning can be a nightmare as each car has its own personality and rare any set up is the same. He can figure it all out from experience and even tunes for other shops.
Like they said above take your time and research for your right shop fit. People on blower portion here will be. HUGE asset, once you go boost you will not stop smiling.

To each their own.. Have my E-Force over a year with ZERO problems. Good system but not the max HP you can get from a SC. I like the factory look and did not want tubes and pipes running all over the engine compartment. It's really a personal choice and how much HP/boost you are looking for. I prefer lower boost, instant torque and factory look. I got 525 rwhp which moves my vette along quite briskly when asked.... It sure smokes up my 325's at anything under 60 mph....

Try the 549HP E-Force first and if that's not enough, you can change the pulley and add the Z06 fuel pump later for another 50 HP.
I really don't understand why people feel they have to get the maximum horsepower possible when a base supercharger will fill 95% of their needs, and not kill the cars reliability or driveability

Ha. Agree most people until they experience it don't realize 500+ rwhp is pretty scary on street and hard to hook.
Cars rule.
I will never learn to stop spending on them.
OP will love the power no matter which kit he goes with the car will fly.
