Lost FOB HELP !

I have an 07 coupe and have seemed to misplace my key and fob. If I open the door Ican hear the chine or ring tone going off. Deosn't that tell me the fob is in that car? Ican take my extra fob, put it in the house, come back to the car and it will start right up? Thank You for any help in advance,

I think you are right. Another indication after you start and then turn off the car, the car blows the horn 3 times when you exit (auto lock enabled).

Quote from manual.

"FOB Reminder: This option chirps the horn three times
when the driver’s door is closed and there is a keyless
access transmitter inside the interior of the vehicle. This
will only occur when the vehicle is off."

Yep. The chime going off when you open the door indicates the car sees a FOB. Same with the car starting.

Agreed. Its probably there in the car somewhere. No, you cannot bring the other fob, open the door, then put it away, come back and start the car. You must have a fob in the car to start. You might try something very simple...open the door and get in. No fob in your hand as in the second fob and make sure that second fob is away from it. See if the car starts. If it does, your missing fob is certainly there in the car.
