Build date for 2012 GS
My dealer gave me the detail order # last week
What does TPW stand for and it has the date of 10/03/2011
I thought this was the build week so I went to the GM site and put in the order number it says the order was placed today. Will someone explain it to me. First Vette I have ever ordered. Thanks

Yes it is killing me. I have pictures of it on my screen saver. It is my first ordered vette I have had 6 over the past 35 years but never ordered just what I wanted. Hurry Hurry I am old and want to enjoy it. LOL

LOL, trust me I understand where your coming from. I still have to find a new house in Phoenix area and get moved before I can even place the order. If your build week is 10/3 then it's almost here. Should give you time to polish the garage floor where it will be parked...put some pic up of what you ordered.

You can always do what I did while I was waiting, buy mods! My wife thought I was an idiot buying things for a car I didn't have yet. Every day watching for the UPS guy to arrive with a new package for me.
It's a sickness, but it's fun. Good luck with the new Vette!

I'm in the same situation dunajamd. My TPW is 10/10 and yeah my windows background is a supersonic blue gs coupe. Wait wait wait. In the meantime I have cleaned my garage like no other time and am painting my garage floor. Yup gettin the baby's room all set.

You might want to sign-up for the Buyer's Tour. You spend 20 hours or so in the private factory tracking your specific Vette. And, you get to meet all the workers on the line, which is terrific.
Highly recommended and cheap $400 plus lodging.
