I recently ordered a 2012 Grand Sport Convertible with the Centennial Package and now I’m wondering when it will be built. I have the Order Number but the “track your Chevrolet order” web page just states the “Vehicle is queued for production”, and it’s been the same for the last three weeks.
There used to be a gentleman here on the Forum that worked in the factory and was able to find build dates. Does anyone know if he is still around? I could really use his help.
Tell us a little about your order. There are some items on constraint currently that can hold your build up. Further, and based on the information that you have posted about your order, it appears that your dealer may not have an allocation.
Don't be afraid to engage your dealership with this question. They will get updated once per week and they should be keeping you informed as to what is going on with your order. If you have sat for three weeks either they can't place the order or you want something that is currently unavailable.

Talon90…You bring us some interesting questions. The G.S. convertible is an LT3 with NPP exhaust, and Paddle Shift Automatic Transmission. Also, as I said above, it has the Centennial Package. I think I’ll be visiting my dealer tomorrow and asking him a few questions.

Unfortunately, nothing you have on order is on constraint currently. There is no reason that your order should be sitting for 3 weeks.
