Put an Optima Redtop in the Vette this time....not sure why as the average life for battery out here is two years as the heat just kills them. But...we shall see how it works out as the price was not far off from the Delco and other brands.

I don't know who makes Delco batteries any more, but Delco does not. All they are is a marketing company now days. The OEM battery in my Z06 looked suspiciously like an Exide.
I replaced my Z06 battery with a DEKA from Meijer. It is proudly made in the USA in Pennsylvania. DEKA may have other outlets across the USA.

I found the above battery from Advanced auto for $109 plus 15% off and another $35 off by using big35 as check out code thanks to another members suggestion. $87 picked up. To make it an even sweeter deal they install it for free and if you spend $100 so basically another $14 you get a $50 gift card towards a future purchase of $100 or more. So I figured while we were on the math topic I would share this. This happens to be the best deal ever!!!
