Default Interior Light Question

I have a 2007 coupe. I recently noticed a very small interior light on the passenger side roof between the visor and the windshield. It is reddish orange, comes on when the car is started, and goes off when the car is turned off. Cannot find anything in the owners manual. It does not look like something that was added aftermarket. It is so dim I don't think it is there for any kind of illumination.

Thanks,

Tony

It's an "ambience" light to illuminate the console at night.

Edit: Here's a recent thread about modding it if you're interested.

2007 owner's manual, page 171.

An ambient light is located in the passenger sun
visor clip. This light stays on while driving to
keep the cabin from being too dark.
