See. There in lies the problem with options. People who otherwise don't know any better exercise them. My god that is ugly. I don't care how functional it is.
FULLER HOT RODS C6 REAR DIFFUSER KIT WITH MAGNAFLOW EXHAUST
This is a carbon fiber rear diffuser designed by Fuller Hot Rods and produced by Elon Racing. It goes in place of the factory rear valence panel using supplied fasteners. The kit was designed to clean up the rear facia, move the exhaust forward and to draw heat off the exhaust. The diffuser is made of high quality carbon fiber with reverse lights integrated in. Small 55 watt lights replace the large factory units. The diffuser works hand in hand with a specially designed Magnaflow exhaust system that is included in the kit. The Magnaflow system is similar to there cat back system with the only difference being tip location. With the Magnaflow kit you gain up to 12hp and 15 ftlbs of torque. The entire exhaust is stainless, and inlcudes the tips, mufflers and all installation accessories. The diffuser bolts in with only minor trimming of the rear facia and allows for the factory components to be reinstalled if desired. $2000.00 for this

He also mentions improved downforce? How do they test that? Wind tunnel? I am not about to mess with perfection, and all the engineering and testing that is a part of the original design.
While I don't care for the design in general the quality of the work is outstanding. You can tell a lot of time and effort went in to building it even though it's ugly!
Not that I really care for the design, but its good to know that at least the option is there and that guys are starting to take different directions with the body instead of the old standard and tired stuff that been done.
Gives me confidence to try my own ideas too...now if I could just get a SUBTLE C3-style rear decklid...I have the image in my brain, but doubt it will ever be made. :P
