Got a call this morning from my brother. A mechanic at the shop he works at was trapped in a vette that lost power. The guy was sitting in it for 15 minutes waiting for help

You'd be amazed how many people don't know about these release levers, as Cadillac CTS's have them too. I sometimes work at GM facilities, having cars on indoor diplay with the windows open. People are standing around wanting to sit inside, so I'll just reach inside and pull it. Reminds me of a story a guy was locked out of his older truck with the little vent window open. Kid came by, and grabbed the keys out of the ignition.
