GMPP Clarification
I am so busy trying to keep up with GMPP sales this month but felt I needed to address this issue since I have had about 10-15 customers being confused over when to buy a GMPP.
You must purchase a GMPP while your vehicle is within the 36/36 portion of the warranty AND NOT WITHIN THE 5/100. Everyone feels there warranty is 5 years and 100K-no that is just the powertrain portion and not the base warranty. I feel bad when I have to tell the customer NO you can not get a GMPP and they respond but I am still in under 5 years and have less than 100K for miles.
I can sell you a Vehicle One plan as long as you are 2007 or newer and under 60K so you have an alternative plan to purchase but everyone always wants a GMPP.
ALSO YOU HAVE 4 DAYS LEFT TO EXTEND ANY 2004 model year vehicle you have, on October 1st it becomes too old to extend with a Major Guard plan.
