Usually I wash it around 2:15am on Thursdays. I just open up the patio door, pull the Vette in, and go at it. Upside is that I get to watch the TV while washing! Downside is that the floor, the walls, the furniture, and everything else seems to develop waterspots!
(I usually wash it out in the driveway at whatever time I can break free from work as long as there is no rain forecasted for at least two or three days)

I got caught in an unexpected rain shower on my way home one evening. So I was out in the driveway hosing it down, in the dark, in the rain. Neighbors probably think I'm
I've washed mine in the rain, day, night 2am etc....I've also washed it in freezing weather and once I had a car door freeze shut and wouuldn't open....(not the Vette)
My computer reads 10:23 PM, just finished washing and drying the vette. I too have washed in below feezing temps and many times in the rain. Its a disorder, what can I say?
Daytime washing for me. I like to see what I'm doing. Rinse, lather, and final rinse in driveway - then I pull it into the garage for drying in the shade. Before finishing drying, I like to drive car around the block to get remaining water spots off rotors & brakes, then use sponge brush on wheel barrels as a finishing touch to drying. I spray/presoak wheels, rotors, & brakes before starting cleaning. Works for me, car sparkles.
