A question for you everyday street drivers. What's the highest G Force reading you've seen on your HUD? I haven't even pulled 1.0 yet, as I've not tried to push her, still have the stock GY's, and can't seem to pull my eyes off the road while driving through turns that aggressively.
As an interesting sidebar, my oldest son (16) has a friend they've nicknamed G Force (given name Kyle). ???

Going through a 500-foot radius turn (which is tighter than you are going to see on normal roads) at 80 miles an hour will only pull about .85G.
I seriously doubt that "everyday street driving" would produce numbers much higher than half a G. You'd have to be considerably more aggressive than normal speed limits in order to even approach one G.
I've pulled 1.27. I've pulled over 1.0 several times on little used roads in my area but I never straighten out a turn, I always stay on my side of center.
1.12 on a stock Z51 w/ Supercar tires, testing the handling in a parking lot.
You can usually get higher numbers in a quick lunge than in a sustained turn.
As noted, you can bring up the highest G since engine start by putting the HUD in Track mode and holding Page button for 5 seconds (seems longer).
The available G is hugely dependant on tires, tire temp, road temp, road conditions, camber, etc etc etc. And if you overdo it, the results can be expensive or even fatal.
If i pull over .8 on the street, I consider that to be a screwup.
