I have a few questions - I've done a little research, but am not totally clear.
1) Can you download routes to the navigation from a computer?
2) Does it have the ability to store music on a hard drive on the unit?
3) It appears to have a slot for a SD Card. Where does this card insert? Can you do searches and sorts by folder of music loaded on the card?
4) Where does the nav antenna mount?
5) Are the units truly plug and play?
6) What are the differences between the two units you list?
BTW, I have the Bose, but not nav and I do have steering wheel controls.

no the routes are programmed on the screen
the APP radio is something for th eiphone to be able to do this

no
there is no HD on this unit
3) It appears to have a slot for a SD Card. Where does this card insert? Can you do searches and sorts by folder of music loaded on the card?
behind the screen and yes
4) Where does the nav antenna mount?
many different places we can do this. I usually put it under the center channel speaker cover myself
5) Are the units truly plug and play?
as close as I can get it. There is one wire in the car you would have to connect. This is for the dimming features. Wire would be labeled as well. For steering wheel controls you will have another wire plus programming.
6) What are the differences between the two units you list?
130 has a 6.95 inch screen 930 has a 6.1
130 has voice activation 930 does not
130 has built in hd radio 930 does not
130 has 5v preouts 930 has 2v
thats about it for difference

Burning Brakes
So I am thinking real hard about the x930bt. I have no clue when it comes to installing stereos or much else for that matter. I have a 2011 GS with Non Nav Bose. What would it take to install this including making xm and on-star function?
