climate control display

Is my hvac lcd display the only one that looks funky when the car is shut off? It looks smudged but reads out fine when power is on. Just wondering

Mine, too. It's especially noticeable when wearing polarized sunglasses.

Oh...you guys are having THAT problem?! Well...what you're experiencing is an indication that the car wasn't broken-in properly when it was purchased, new. It's got something to do with the break-in oil mixing with the assembly lube the factory uses, and metallic drag, ambient temperature and the fact that the plastic composites used in the Corvette body doesn't have the same magnetic "shrouding" that a steel body would. I'm afraid to tell you that the damage has already been done and it's irreversable. The only thing you can do now is give me the car. I know how to dispose of it properly...so no one gets hurt! It's a tough job...but somebody's got to do it!
