BlueFusion Bluetooth Interface
Has anyone used this product to add Bluetooth to their pre-2009 vette? I'd love to know if it works and how well?!?

If your car has an aux input, you could try this:

I install it and it work fine for about three days, one of the forum member said he had problems with it, then I started having the same problems would not turn it self off when shutting down the car which resulted in the battery discharging or no start condition. I charge the battery up and the same thing happen again, remove it and got a refund, no more problem with dead battery or car not cranking. Do not recommend.

Thank you for the feedback. But are you talking about the BlueFusion, or the BlueStar? I did read that the BlueStar had battery issues on older versions. But I can find little to nothing on the BlueFusion. They are from different companies. The BlueFusion can be found here:

My friend has bluetooth connectivity in his car. Both of our phones have reduced quality when using BT as oppose to aux input.
BT is very convenient but if you want maximal quality I think a direct aux input is better.

I thought we were talking about Blue Fusion because I had problem with it like I said. I brought it from Best Buy and installed it myself. I talk to their tech support at Scorshe, he suggest I return for a refund because it would not work right with my 07. But you can try it on yours if you aren't satisfied with my reply.

Thank you for the follow up reply. I just wanted to make sure we were talking about the same unit as the problem you described was the same issue as others had with the other unit! I called Scosche this AM to ask several questions about this unit. Unfortunately, they told me that they have been having multiple issues with their product in C6’s, and have removed the C6 from their application list. It seems that your issue was not isolated! Bummer, as these units seems to have all of the features that I wanted.
Did you ever get another solution? Many recommend the Parrot, but I do not want an additional screen. I wish there was either a factory retrofit or an aftermarket solution that worked much the same, with good integration.

Take the factory unit out and install something like the Pioneer Z130. Better sound, Nav and Boothtooth, ipod works thru the unit. It's the only way to go. A bit more expensive but well worth it in the long run.

Not yet, I'm waiting on kawal with the PAL2 which is suppose to have it incorporated in it, they are suppose to be working the bugs out of it now. Hopefully real soon because I prefer a factory look.
