Just got the car back from the shop after repairs. Now I have a DIC message" top not secure". I have checked everything, switch etc.
Now here is the question. Ever since the car was new when you lock the top the radio would go silent for just a second. Only happend as you latch the top. When testing the switch the radio does the same thing. So, I know or believe the switch is ok, the message must be genetated somewhere else. ANY IDEAS??

Yep, that is normal for the radio, mine does that as well. Sounds like the sensor that detects when the top lock is latched went bad or the one on the cover is disconnected.
You didn't say what kind of repairs were done in the shop....anything having to do with the top, windhsield, tonneau cover, trunk,...? My guess is the limit switch in the hole on top of the windshield on the driver's side. The pins on the top must go down into these holes to show that the top is secure.
It’s been a couple days since you posted so I was just curious if you’ve spoken with your dealership regarding this issue. Please keep us updated on your progress and feel free to send me a private message if you have any questions.

Thank you!!!!
Wow, an unexpected reply. (pm also sent)
Took the car to Crews Chevy in Charleston, SC. They remedied all issues. Said the top was all out of adjustment due to the body shop manually moving the top. All is now well EXCEPT when putting the top up as the lid closes it scrapes the bottom of the back glass. The dealer did not know how to adjust and has refered me back to the body shop??
Has anyone else had to make this type adjustment?

This is common I think. When putting my manual top up on my '05, I always push the rear window in a bit with my finger tip before closing the tonneau cover. Not an issue.
My mom's 09 had this problem after the headliner was replaced. The forward edge of the toneau cover hits the TOP of the rear window in transit. There is a service bulletin out for it. After the dealer adjusted things it now has about 1/2" of clearance. They supposedly adjust the toneau cover, not the top.
