I did mine a few months ago, but haven't posted any pics yet.
I'm in AZ and did the legal limit of 35% on the sides and 15% in the back. I think I'm going to take it back and get 15% on the sides. I can see perfectly fine out the back at night. I can't even tell the sides are tinted looking out at night.
The dot matrix does look kind of crapy on the back hatch, but the shop said there's not way around it. Some one mentioned "blacking out"?

To the OP, the new "painted" vinyl overlays (from your tinter) come in gloss black and even metallic black and textures ... a great way to make the halo black for virtual pennies (so to say) ...
