Hey members, I have an 06, my navigation system keeps cutting in and out. The GPS is not always on, (the gps symbol shows up with a red line crossing it) which leads me to getting lost (no joke it happened to me this weekend) Anyone else deal with this issue? Do I need a new antenna or is the whole deck faulty?
Buy a Garmin, and use your existing radio. Talon is the one to email about the existing unit but the cost of the upgrade disk will get you a nice (useable) Garmin.
Press a red button to start a trip? I guess green was busy?
I never get loss, I'm just looking for a more efficient route.
To the OP,
Was the radio ever removed and replaced with an Aftermarket unit? A connection might be bad. How is your car's battery? It could be a bad antenna, maybe a loose wire somewhere.
