interior squeaking
Hi, I am a brand new C6 owner. I have noticed squeaking noises inside the cabin when i hit bumps. I have a Targa top, and I was wondering if anyone else has had this issue and if so what is the fix. Thanks

the top noise is a creak..not a squeak. But.. you have nothing to lose.. take the top off, take a q-tip.. and put a small amount of Vaseline on the contact points of the latches and put the top back on. I have to do it about 3 times a year.. sure did eliminate mine. I have both roofs, the newer roof, the transparent, has the new latches like yours (I assume you have a 09+...) my O.E. roof has the old latches, there was recall to replace them for this prob... but i never bothered.. the Vaseline did the trick

MY 11 GS driver's door panel sqeeks like crumpled vinyl gift wrap, kinda crunchy with the slighest touch of the elbow or bump in the road.....drive's me nuts at times but I've accepted it as par for the course with GM....
well...my 5 yr old 27k (when new) non-GM 4x4 is totally silent inside...go figure
