What did you use to scan the codes? A couple people have told me to in various threads but haven't been directed to on what to use.
The VCX GM NANO computer based GM Tech II. It is exactly like a technician hand held Tech II, but on a computer program screen. Amazon sells them.
It does everything a Tech II will do. Scans and gives all the DTC codes that are present, etc etc.

Gonna go ahead and order one now, thanks.
Also took a look at your other forum about the SWPS, gonna go ahead and give that a try to see if that'll fix the issue while the scanner is shipping. Appreciate the help

You will like the GM Nano. I have mine on an older Acer Laptop with Windows 7. The Nano and the required programs are the only thing on the laptop. It will do most things that you want. I purchased mine to marry a used Nav Unit to the vehicle VIN, and do the brake bleeding by manipulating the ABS pump, and other simple stuff.
If you need to get into the ECM/BCM to change parameters, you would need a TIS2000 added to the program. That does not come with it, but it is available from the resident expert on everything GM Nano and Tech II.
The Nano can also be loaded onto a newer laptop as well.
Good Luck
