Default Hey GM....Please include the build sheet!!!!!!!!

I just bought a new 2011 and would like a build sheet. Yes I know you can order one from the NCM and will, but why not throw a extra one in the car when it's going down the line. You would think that they would understand that most Corvette buyers would like that documentation. JMO

Good idea ... I bought my GS new from MacMulkin (who are real good at including everything that came with the car when manufactured), but I never got a build sheet.

However, some members here said they have found there build sheet in there new Corvettes. I have never found mine.

Supposedly they put it inside of a frame rail in the front during the final assembly but it would be nice if they provided the extra.

I got mine, the museum sent it to me, I think it came with my photo album, but Not 100% sure. But I do have it and didn't buy it separate.

Yea...it would be a nice addition to all the other paperwork most of us new Vette buyers keep.

Having participated in the "Buyers Tour" netted me several sub-station build sheets along with the actual original composite built sheet for my GS, straight from the assembly floor.

Mine was in the car when it showed up at the dealer. However, I was at the plant when it was built and had the photo album done too. Dave Hastings was my tour guide/photographer and was there to take photos as it was finished and told them to put the build sheet in the car for me. Maybe a bit special treatment, but the guy is a class act.

Actually, I think there are several build sheets for each car.

From 1967 to 1996 they factory glued the build sheet to the gas tank. In 1997 to 2004 they put the build sheet inside the front frame rail. You have to have the front bumper assy off to get it out. I don't know if they still do it on the C6

Default Fitting Plate to Top Flight GS Front Holder

Has anyone successfully bent a plastic front license plate frame to fit a curved Top Flite front plate holder? I've contacted vendors who are reticient to tell me the frame will work without cracking.

Thanks,
GP

Just received mine last week from the museum, along with the window sticker.

Is there a website or book which helps us to interpret the cryptic build sheet?

And on other cars, like the Camaro, the build sheet is placed in the trunk

I know on C4s, it was in the framerail and on top of the gas tank.
