It's *very* easy to change out. Pull off the instrument panel gauge surround in which the switch is mounted and have a look. Use a taped, flat blade screwdriver in the crack at the bottom of the panel (below the switch) to get the thing started without hurting the surround. The panel is held in by clips - you put it back by just snapping it back in.

simple to do. I replaced mine with the painted version when I replaced my gauge cluster bezel that TKO finished in hydrocarbon ...
