Default Car Cover suggestions?

I talked with a guy at work and he suggested getting a car cover that has some kind of under-lining that provides minimal scratches and paint rub off during the winter. He couldn't give me a name so it makes it hard for me to find such a car cover.

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance

I live in an apartment area. I don't trust people not to f*** with that bubble-boy device.
The whole reason I need a cover is because my poor baby is parked outside (check my sig pic).

Mid-America corvettes in Ohio and California Car Cover in SoCal have all types including what you describe. Call them and ask for help picking one that fits your weather situation.

OEM GM Cover $225....very soft nappy inside

Fit is amazing, no baggy, hanging edges or pig-ear mirror pockets; thick, well sewn, and fits thru seat fwd, w/o opening hatch or blocking view...about $40 more than Forum sponsors stuff. Free cross flag duffle too.

Check out the SUNFORGER cover at the Canvas Shoppe.

These covers are flannel lined, custom made in Flint, MI USA for your specific model Corvette.

My cover reaches down to within 3" of the floor covering the bead on my chrome Z06/GS wheels.

Real soft on the inside to prevent scratching during installation and removal.

Nice selection of covers at Corvette Central. I have the Coverking Stretch Satin (TM) for vehicles parked indoors. Uses lycra fibers for multi-directional stretch plus an inner fleece liner that is exceptionally soft. Corvette logo and storage bag. $239.95

Wife claims it's nicer lingerie than she has. Gonna cost me.

Problem is mine will be stuck outside unless I find an affordable storage unit (not likely). I'm trying to save money this winter, not spend more.

So with it being outside, I know the wind will blow on it and I don't want the cover to be rubbing my paint dull.

Suggest you checkout 84-10 STORMPROOF car covers -- also at Corvette Central. Choice of 2-tone or single colors for a waterproof but breathable car cover. Think ski jacket material. Still in the $239 -$269 range.

We had 22"s of snow this past weekend so winter is a comin.
