The $2,000 for the lease conquest is not a mailing list so there would be no coupon. You would just need to qualify to get that one at your dealer.

Realistically, with the 3k ... and there is also 1500 dealer cash.. plus the pricing that forum vendors are giving + maybe any added incentive to move a car because they need a new allocation, or its a long time on lot.. I would say the cheapest - ZERO option 1lt coupe MN6 would probably be somewhere near 37K (probably in the low $37,XXX range..

You can buy that... drive it for 3 yrs.. put 30-35k miles on it and still sell it for $31K - not bad to buy a NEW CAR and lose $8-9K in 3 years INCLUDING TAX... Take $8500 in loss - that is $2800 a year for 3 yrs.. /12 months = $233 /month if you want to sell the car in around 3 yrs

thanks, that saves me a lot of digging, as I haven't paid attention lately to the C6 situation. I agree on the financial analysis...also need to factor in Michigan sales tax of 6%, but I can get GM employee discount from a fellow automotive engineer across town, so it may be even better than $37k...plus no way will I put that mileage on it being retired and storing it for the winter. Right now I am lucky if I put 2k/year on the C5...nice position to be in...will I do it? Who knows...maybe one of the dealers here will contact me with what they have.

Default $3000 Certificate

I am in the process of buying a 2012 GS. My dealer is not a great seller of new corvettes. How can I can I help him get this certificate. I currently have an 04 Vette. Please provide me an e-mail address to GM so I can get this deal. Thanks for any info on this.

E-mail customer service and ask for a "private offer". I did, and have received TWO in the last month, both for $3,000.

Would you please share the email address you used? Do you mean the customer service rep (Justin, I think) on this forum? I looked on the Chevy website and tried the "contact us" section, but trying to request info about offers just takes me back to the current offers page.

thanks!

Larry, look at the bottom of the chevy page. I asked for a private offer voucher via e-mail , and since then they've sent 2 , both within the last 3-4 weeks. I basically told them if they sent one to me that I'd buy a car, they did, I did.

http://www.chevrolet.com/pages/mds/h.../contactUs.do#

Did not contact Justin, but maybe not a bad idea. You can ask him for chevy's e-mail info.

I used the 1st voucher to order a GS from MacMulkin. The 2nd one is going to waste as you cannot use 2 for the same car. It's not transferable outside the family otherwise I'd just give it to you.

Your dealer has to do this. He needs to send an email to his Chevrolet District Manager with your name, address, phone number and email address along with the VIN of the Corvette you are buying and a scanned copy of the current registration for the Corvette you own now. He will have a certificate number for you worth $3,000 within 24 hours.

Click "email chevrolet" on the link above.

Click the "I have a promotion or incentive question" option - the last option in the first group that you see.

Click "submit" and you will be given a form to fill out, where you can request the private incentives as noted.

If you click the other options, then it punts you to a web page that would answer most questions for the topic selected.

I can get the $3k...just need to provide proof of vette ownership at my previous address that I lived when I bought the vette.

So I should be able to use that plus the 0% financing....now if they could only keep the $3k in 2012 and finance 0 for 72..I'm in!
