Your opinion, I suppose.

But others think grey wheels look like something taken off a BMW after it hasn't been washed for months. If you like the brake dust look, go for comp grey. You'll never have to worry about cleaning your wheels.

Pffff...... Comp Gray looks great on all colors. I had them on my car when it was black and now that it is blue. To me, it is the most versatile rim color that fits all body colors. Chrome is ok, but its just a little too much bling for me. Black makes the wheels disappear too much for me, so comp gray is the sweet spot in the middle.

Occasionally, I see a car I like with comp gray wheels, and Luster's car would be an excellent example of that. However, for the most part I think comp gray wheels just look like horribly dirty wheels when the car is rolling down the road. Generally, I think CG looks better with lighter colored wheels, either silver or chrome.

And "Pfff" to you, csnow. The "sweet spot in the middle" is polished aluminum. Doesn't have the "bling" of chrome and doesn't look like it's covered with brake dust. Forget black. Looks like you've lost your hubcaps and are too cheap to replace them.

I got the greys on mine because my car is a daily driver, and I only clean it about once or twice a week. The grey does hide the brake dust very well.

What surprised me is when people come over to admire the car, usually the first thing they comment on is how much they like the wheels, and second, how wide they are.

I don't have that much of a preference myself, but it surprised me.

Well I like Cyber Grey Spiders and my missing hubcap look.

Chrome wheels on a sports car is like wearing loafers with a jogging suit....IMHO.

I guess it just depends on the application. Comp gray wheels look amazing on silver, white, Supersonic Blue, Torch red, and yellow cars. Chrome looks brilliant with Cyber Gray, Jetstream Blue, Crystal red, and that orange color.

Pfff back to you hotspur

Polished aluminum looks good... I agree, but I got better things to do (like drive my car) than sit with a can of polish every weekend. I had friends with CCW classics and they hated the maintenance of polished aluminum. If your car is a garage queen it fine, but a car driven daily requires too much work.

What I really like is black chrome but I haven't found any rims styles I like that fit the C6 that are available in black chrome.

That car looks tuff Xedes. I am not a fan of the GS stripes but that color combo with the stripes looks stellar! Nice tie in with the black halo, rims, and stripes. Is that your car? I havent seen pictures of yours before. You need black lights to finish the theme.

Gray car gray wheels don't think so unless you want that "look". Need something to make it pop. Granted the GM chrome wheels may not be the most desirable, but if you take the $2K Chevy charges less the discount that would put a dent in buying some chrome wheels that would look great on a vette.

I think these look great!

I don't know whether or not Comp Gray wheels is just a passing fad, but I like them on certain color cars. Seem to go well with SSB:

Not apparently just my opinion. Just view what the exotic, sportscar, And muscle car segments are showing on their sites and magazine pictorals. The VAST majority of vehicles are shown Without chrome wheels. They are left for the luxury segment oh and CORVETTES.No modern day supercar and the like should have them.Just my opinion and most manufacturers.
