Default Help, question about full length spoiler

Hello, does anyone know where, or if, I can buy a full length spoiler that I dont have to install by drilling additional holes in my car? I would like one that utilizes the pre existing holes in the middle and double sided tape at the ends.

Help would be appreciated.

Thanks

I am not 100% sure, but I think most of the after market spoilers "could" be installed that way. The ZR1 spoiler could I am pretty sure.

The couple I have seen have bolts already mounted on them. I was thinking that I could just grind them off but knowing my luck I would ruin the spoiler etc..

Why the fear of drilling? It's no big deal. The results are great and you won't have the potential hassle of the tape coming loose, gap on installation, etc.

True - search the forum - you'll find installation problems with gap complaints....if drilling is good enough for the factory it's good enough for me. REALLY easy to do.

Now that I have seen yours (looks great) I'm glad that I ordered mine with it.

The bolts actually clip on at the ends. You can use the 4 factory holes and leave the bolts off on the ends and use the tape on the ends. I would not and did not do it that way. I drilled the holes. It's no big deal. Most of the spoilers come with a template and your only drilling into plastic. Even if your off a bit everything is covered up by the spoiler.

don't want to hijack the thread - but where can I buy a spoiler like EVRose or one that bolts on? I called the dealer and they only had the ones that use tape.

Mine is a Ron Fellows full length spoiler and I got it already painted and ready to go from Empire Corvettes.

Here is my favorite and you can order it pre-painted to match your Vette and it meets your requirement of no drilling. It's from RPI, a forum vendor. The link is below.

Order a painted GM full width spoiler from (Gene)GMPartshouse or (Kevin)PartTaxi. They come with everything you need for installation, including a template if you want to drill holes. As previously mentioned, you have the option to use double sided 3M tape if you do not want to drill the holes. (I would suggest that you do, unless you want to be able to go back to the stock spoiler.)

I did my own installation and it was very easy.

Here is a thread with info and photos.

That's a nice one but $600!! I know the style of mine is different but I paid less than half of that for it.
