Mods that increase reliability / longevity?
I'm thinking along the lines of higher quality weatherstripping, stainless steel brake lines, electrical contact cleaner for all connections, LED tail lamps, seat covers, better floor mats, etc.
We have an '09 with 32,000 miles and it is being used as a daily driver.
Thanks!

- pull every electrical connector that I saw and squirted di-electric grease in the plug. Keeps out moisture for less corrosion, better metal to metal contact and keeps rubber lubricated.
- added automatic transmission fluid cooler.
- some debate on whether this helps the engine run cooler...cut the fuel rail covers so they only cover the injectors. Painted red the now-exposed coil packs.
- 3M clearbra helps keep the paint chips to a minimum.
- Had dealer replace rear diff fluid with improved stuff. Did this at first sign of noise before warranty ran out.
- every couple of years I tighten every screw that I see on the body. You would be surprised how many are loose which can lead to squeakes/rattles. Here is the write-up of sizes I did a year ago:
Body fasteners by size
Phillips screwdriver: 1) door opener switches 2) targa top rear latch cover
T15 Torx bit: 1) underhood along fender (to get rear screws on each fender- Left side:unscrew hard trim piece and push forward to remove & Right side:pull up flexible rubber trim 2) A-pillar trim bottom with door open 3) rear quarters around open hatch 4) inside door including bumper at bottom 5) gas door lid 6) taillights 7) license plate lights 8) center console lid hinge & cover
T30 Torx bit: 1) coupe rear hatch lid support brackets 2) hatch striker and 2 cargo cover hooks 3) door latches
T40 Torx bit: 1) targa top front latch handle pivots
9/16 wrench: 1) targa top front alignment pins
7mm wrench: 1) rear wheel well splash shields-2 or 3 ea side 2) rear diffuser-underneath 3) underside of front fenders and rockers 4) underhood- 4 along front nose 5) near rear hatch @ halo- 1 ea side
10mm wrench: (all underhood) 1) hood release mechanisms 2) latch strikers on hood 3) radiator top support to frame 4) coolant tank
13mm wrench: 1) hood hinges 2) bracket below hood hinges 3) door hinges-to door & to body 4) coupe rear glass hinges @ halo
15mm wrench: 1) targa top rear alignment pins
- window tint can reduce interior fading/cracking.
- seat mod to strengthen it and reduce bolster wear and covered that wire area that is prone to break through the leather.

Here is a pic of my 07 that is my DD.
The reason I am asking is because the car is 2 years old ('09 end of year leftover). Aside from basic maintenance, we haven't done much to the car!!
