Thoughts on Comp Gray wheels
#24
Anyone other than me have a 2012 with competition gray wheels. Took a crap shoot in ordering them and love them.
Now if I can just get rid of my old fart fat stomach...............I know eat less and eat veggies, stay away from red meat.
But life is so short...................

I held out for cyber grey with the competition grey wheels combo on my grand sport. Held off on having them apply the red heritage stripes for almost a year. Now I can't imagine the car without them.
I get lots of comments about the car, but "car people" always seem to point out the grey wheels and the comments are always positive.

Tried to buy a Inferno Orange with Comp Gray, dealer messed around and I wound up with a Velocity Yellow with chrome. I will be putting comp gray on mine asap! OldstyleGS, your car is sick!

Comp Gray wheels are by far my favorite wheels. I had them on my '09 Artic White coupe and I thought it looked great. In my opinion the Comp Gray wheels look great on every color of Vette.
My Grand Sport came with the silver wheels, and they look pretty good, but now where close to the Comp Gray wheels. I have been wanting to buy some Comp Gray wheels but just haven't wanted to cough up the cash. Maybe next year though.
Comp Gray wheels are BAD @$$

About that stomach, eat better and exercise. You don't want to be lugging that 50 pounds of gut around when you're 75 and constantly worrying about a heart attack. You can do it!

When I ordered my car I didn't know if I would like them either, but I knew I didn't want chrome. For $395, thought what the heck. Couldn't imagine not having them now.

Now George... about that stomach.
2 years ago, I was 6'4" and 320. I lost 100 pounds in 5 months. I still weigh 220 two years later.
Here's how I did it.
1. No bread, sugar, flour, rice, pasta or potatoes for 5 months.
2. Limited calories to 1800 per day.
3. Walked 2 miles per day.
I'm still pretty strict on "white carbs", but now I run about 2.5 miles a day, rather than walking.
I'm 61.
YOU CAN DO IT! DETERMINATION!
