We all get our fair share of crud weather. But I can say the older I get the less I enjoy northern winters.

I understand. I'm not sure I would do well up North during the winter.

My younger son who just returned from Vanderbilt for Thanksgiving received a cell phone pic from one of his roommates during his drive back to OH. It was a shot of the Corvette Museum, in the sun, which makes our weather seem even worse...He has sent similar pics before just to rub it in.

For us, the solution is A/S Michelins and keep driving until the first snow. Then we park it for about 2 months and drive it down to Florida in mid-January. The car only gets one dose of salt on the way down, and we wash thoroughly then drive through a couple of rain storms to eliminate any remaining salt. By the time we come back in mid-April, winter and salt are gone.

Retirement does have some advantages.

I put my Z06 away last weekend... was regretting it this week with those couple sunny days we had, but was SUPER happy it was out of sight today! haha...

had left this morn in the Benz (still haven't swapped winter tires on it) and then got stuck in the snow crap. was NOT fun driving from Mall of America to Minnetonka!!!

But i had a damn good time plowing my driveway! USed my atv with plow for the first time. What a blast!!!

Aj

Five inches here last night. It warmed up to 38 today and melted about 95%. Looks like I will be back on the road in the morning. Later! Frank

Yall need to move south. We get on avg 2.5 in of snow per year. Had a real blizzard last year with 12 in at one time. But it was gone in a week.

Usually just 4 or 5 days a yr the vette stays in the garage.
