Tire pressure is fine, yet I keep getting warnings of underinflated tires - typically, the RR. Any way to "reset" the system/tire sensor so it will read properly?
As mentioned, at least have a tire shop scan it. I have a Bartech 300 tool to reprogram sensors for track wheel changes and scans for dead sensors too. My brothers new car had a problem similar to your's, and the Bartech showed a dead sensor. If your cars within the first 36mo/36Kmi, let the dealer handle it.
Programming only programs the car's electronics so it knows where each sensor is located so will not change how the sensors read unless you are getting XXXX displayed on the DIC. It sounds like the sensor battery may be getting low and causing erroneous readings. However, have you checked the other tires when you get the low tire pressure indication? Sometimes tires have been moved or the car programmed incorrectly so you need to make sure one of the other tires isn't low.
I have one that if I drive for any extended period of time the sensor will read 0 or xx. Tire shop says the sensor is taking a crap. Doesn't really bother me so I will replace it when I get tires.

If you just cruise around town without changing any traction settings, then you're probably ok. I road course track my ZO6, and a bad sensor can affect the ability to turn off traction control, or even reduce engine power. Not what I'm wanting, so I make sure the TPMS system is functioning properly. It's a nice system, so why not take advantage of having it.
