I wrote to the dealer askng for a pic of the glove box re: Z51 issue and the brakes.
On the other hand--it is an auto...so not a real issue as auto doesn't come with the oil/tranny coolers anyway and you can easily add the rotors. Yes the wheels are GM after market...about $3500 worth (to GM).

That is not a z51... you can tell by the picture of the rear wheel and how small the disks are. Also, it's incredibly unlikely the stock rotors would have worn out in 10k miles... most people are getting way more than that out of them.
*AND... as noted above... those are the ZHZ wheels from the Hertz cars. So judging by all the clues... someone put on chrome badges and chrome trim pieces

Looks like the Z51 for 'Vettes will end up like the WS6 on Firebirds. A small percentage sold originally but in EVERY used car description.

Z51 badges are not original equipment. Not a fan!

Also, those are regular Goodyear EMT's, not Supercars. My vote is a base Corvette with GM Accessory wheels and a dumb badge.

Since Compnine is no longer available, the only way to know for sure would be to see the RPO sticker in the glove box. My money is on base suspension. The tack on stuff is aweful in my opinion........

I informed the salesman it was not a z51 car as advertised and he might change his ad and price accordingly. He has not so I assume he doesn't care.

Default My two cents

Just my two cents but there is difference in way we address this,
There are Z06's and ZR1's which are different models of the base C6. The difference is the Z51 is not a "model number" it is a code for an available option package. So what you have is a "2008 C6 with the Z51option.

The Z51 option is recommended for autocrossing on smooth parking lots on warm, dry days, if your into that.
