I think you are just hearing the normal startup / shutdown sequence.

Does FOB Comminicate quietly?
I am not sure if this is normal or if I have a probelm. I recently noticed a faint electronic "crackling" sound when I get in my car (2008 convertible) and also hear it after I shut the engine off. I just bought the car 2 weeks ago and did not initially notice this sound and am concerned that I may have an elecrical problem, although the car seems to run fine. Could this be the FOB communicting with computer?

If the sounds like a spark or arching you have a short somewhere possibly and need to seek it out quickly.
