While visiting family in Georgia over Thanksgiving, my brother in law and I drove over to Duluth to visit Rick Hendrick Chevrolet. If it is not now, it will be the largest Corvette Dealership in the country. He has 156 Corvettes in stock, it’s amazing! We met and talked with Corvette Specialist Rick Daniels. Many here on the forum already know Rick Daniels, he really knows Corvettes and he is NOT pushy…If you are even thinking about a new Corvette, visit Rick Hendricks, its first class, and the deals they are offering now are awesome. You can also visit their complete on line inventory. Rick also told me they will ship/deliver your new Corvette and pick up your trade, you can’t beat that! I don’t want you to think this is a sales pitch, it’s not, just an “FYI” on a special Corvette Dealership, and it was well worth the drive.

I bought mine from Rick Daniel in 2007 and it was the easiest car transaction I've ever had. He knew what he was selling and just needed to know what I wanted. And he was about $2,000 less than the best of 5 other dealers I tried. The most stressful part of the transaction was dropping a certified check for over $50K into a UPS collection box in the middle of a strip mall parking lot.
Yes, Rick made one mistake on my order. I was doing paperwork from Alabama but was going to pick up the car in Kentucky and register it in Illinois. Alabama doesn't have front license plates but I wanted the bracket so that I wouldn't ever have an issue in Illinois which does have front plates. The bracket wasn't in the car when I went to pick it up because Rick "forgot" to put it on the order form. A single email resulted in a UPS delivery to my door shortly thereafter. Then there was the unexpected second UPS delivery of a very nice car cover and gift certificate for Mid-America.
Rick would be the first one I would call on my next purchase.
Sounds like a sales pitch because you cannot make a judgement until you have actually done business. Just about every salesmen sounds great and acts like he/she is your best friend or long lost sibling. Some are better than others at making customers really believe it.
i support people locally in the area/state, it helps the local economy and keeps people at work in the state i live in.....why would i want to help people/state i don't live in???????
I personally would not buy another Corvette or any other car from Rick Daniels I bought my 09 Z06 from him and took museum delivery and he was less than helpful and made the transaction stressful. When it came time to order my ZR1 I didn't even bother calling him.
Was this it when he worked for Maxie Price that could have something to do with it.

Depends on what you consider pushy I guess....I get a bit tired of seeing posts updated every day to sell cars on the general forum.
I have bought three vettes in the last ten years, i have always found that i can get just as good of a deal buying from my local dealer as from these forum vendors. And then i dont have to worry about having the expense of having the car shipped etc.
I bought from Rick Daniel at Maxie Price and had a good experience. Shipping to Florida went well.
As far as a local dealer, I will give them first shot, but when they can't offer a good deal, I go looking elswhere. I had a local dealer complain that he had to feed his family, but charged over MSRP for the Camaro when it came out during the first three months. He is o.k. to overeating in the good times. It is all about supply and demand.
