Default Clock

This thread is for the search engine that didn't help me this weekend.

Took the car out for a spin with my better half, and before I knew it ; she was trying to re- set the clock.
You know the type ; start pressing buttons at random . Well , she finnally got it set on the hours and minutes ; but also some how changed it to 24 hour mode.

Frustrated for about 5 minutes in the car, trying to get back to 12 hr time.

My 2010 manual does not anywhere state how to toggle between 12 & 24 hour mode. So I, in fact, had to start pressing buttons and finnally found the right one - the station **** (press it).

Now I wait for someone to tell me this is in the manual , and they found it with our search feature.

Oh well ; having fun with vettes!

It's in some manuals, but not in others.

To change the time default setting from 12 hour to
24 hour, press either the H or the M button for
two seconds to enter the clock mode. Press the tune
**** to select between the 12 or 24 hour display format.
The clock mode will automatically time out with the
changed display format set as the current default setting.

And here's why a search for "clock" would not have found the thread on this same subject that I answered 3 days ago.

"Clock" is not mentioned anywhere in the thread.
