Default Tire Selection

I have stock size (diameter, width, and offset) z06 wheels on my 2008 C6 with widebody mod. Here is the tire setup I am considering:

Front 295/35ZR18 Nitto Invo
Rear 345/30ZR19 Nitto Invo

The stock z06 tire sizes give a front/rear diameter ratio of 0.959. My tire selection gives a ratio of 0.958, or 0.1% difference. I don't think this will effect ABS or Active Handling. Speedo will see a 1.6% error, or about 1 mph at 65mph, which is acceptable.

If I stay with a 275/35ZR18 up front, my front/rear ratio is 0.94, or 2% difference. Don't know the sensitivity of the ABS and Active Handling system, but 2% could be significant. Since my car is a stock C6, the stock tire setup yielded a ratio of 0.963, so the tire selection I am considering actually moves me closer to the car's original ratio than the stock Z06 tire sizes.

As for width changes, the fronts would change 0.74", or about 3/8" inside and outside. The rears would change 0.15", or about 1/16" on inside and outside. I don't think this will cause any interference problems or contact points.

I would be interested in comments regarding this tire selection. Please post if you have experience with this setup or if you have knowledge regarding changing tire sizes on C6's.

Thanks.

You'll be fine.

I currently run a 265/345 combo on my C6.

The car isn't very sensitive to tire change at all as I've done all sorts of setups ranging from taller than stock and shorter than stock on both front and rear with my current setup being the most drastic change shorter than stock front and taller than stock rear.

Need to know if anyone has put a 295/35/18 tire on front of C6 z06, GS, or widebody mod.
