My C6 2005 intermittently won't complete the closing cycle. The top stops because the last inch of the car body doesn't close where the top is kept. If I push it closed the top will finish as normal. Your help would be appreciated. Thanks
Check the pressure relief screw on the tops hydraulic pump and make sure it is tightly closed, the manual tells you where to find it and how to use the tool they include to loosen or tighten the pressure screw.

When you say close, closing when it opens or closing when you go from top up to top down?
When I was putting the top up. The last segment that flips down to be latched to the windshield stops in the upright position until I force the body cover closed
I have a 2007 C6 Convertible and the roof suddenly stopped closing all the way. Read the discussion here and learned a lot. Someone suggested the pull-down latch behind the Waterfall might be the problem and gave a part number ACDelco Original Equipment Part #25809368. I bought the part online for $242.00 new. Learning curve slowed me down a little, but there was a good video online that took you through the hydraulic pump replacement. (
) Klaus of Top Hydraulics, even gave all the socket and allen wrench sizes. Going by his video I checked the pump and fluid reservoir and everything looked good. I watched the pull-down latch while exercising the roof and there was no movement. So I bought the new latch. Getting the Waterfall off was the hardest part - there are some very small screws with tiny star-shaped allen heads. Now that I've done it once it takes about 20 minutes to remove and install. Installing the new latch took about 15 minutes. When I plugged the electrics back into the latch, I was treated to that wonderful sound of the latch extending the hoop up. I knew then it was good. The roof closes fine now. The tonneau roof still bumps the rear window as the roof goes up - this after shortening the straps (also from the video) half a dozen times. These straps are ultra chintzy and they got worse with each try. Will just reach up and hold the window out of the way until I get ambitious again.

Good info, but the thread has been dead for over 11 years. I doubt it will help the OP much.
